Pearl River Delta’s 68 million population resulted in two 150-hectare Artificial Islands built with the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macau Bridge (HZMB), polluting the cities’ coastal borders.  Our scheme proposes to utilise the long-span bridge as foundation to build a colony of greenery. Residual alga is fed into aqua-cultural farming and wastewater treatment, where it is refined into bio-fuel and pumped into passing cars/cruise ships.
